The Cross Solutions team is dedicated to helping our customers leverage the totality of the Microsoft Cloud by building and delivering solutions that closely align to their business and industry challenges. We are looking for a Cross Solution Global Black Belt (GBB) Manager to lead a high-performance team of sellers who engage directly with customers and field teams in the EMEA Time Zone as we create, validate and scale new sales motions that span across our solutions portfolio and offerings to deliver incremental customer value. 

The ideal candidate is an experienced sales manager with a passion for understanding and helping to solve customer challenges by leveraging the full power of the Microsoft Cloud and the breadth of our platform solutions. You will be a trailblazer in more closely aligning our sales motions to customer and industry challenges, a visible advocate for our customers, a deep partner for our sales field and you embody our values of model/coach/care. We welcome your application!  

Responsibilities

  • Leading GBBs to drive XSA opportunities in order to validate new sales motions that span across our solution areas 
  • Developing the team’s Solution Sales skills to sell the business outcomes of the broader Microsoft Cloud platform 
  • Role modelling BDM engagement with new cross solution motions and identifying insights and learnings to make recommendations on whether a motion should be scaled through field, partner or deprioritized. 
  • Identifying market trends and in-depth customer insights for optimization and development of cross solution sales motions and value proposition 
  • Championing customer asks, blockers and escalations to progress deals faster into closure and inform the GTM strategy for cross solution sales motions 
  • Leading best practice sharing across Areas and EMEA Time zone Regional communities to multiply the business impact in selected solutions or motions and supporting executive customer conversations with a focus on cross solutions and industry 
  • Developing a high-performing team by hiring diverse talent, prioritizing development, leading by example and by preparing people for more senior positions in other parts of the organization 
  • Directly engaging with strategic customers to land our XSA approach and positioning the value of the Microsoft cloud 

Qualifications

  • Proven people management experience 
  • Proventechnology-related sales or account management experience  
  • A consultative selling mindset grounded in customer-obsession, you gain energy from listening to customers and learning deeply about their challenges
