Overview

We seek a driven team leader with a background in distribution center management to join our Famous Footwear Distribution Center team in Tejon Ranch, California.

Location: Tejon – 5621 Dennis McCarthy Drive, Lebec, CA

Responsibilities

We seek people who:

· Provides overarching senior leadership for distribution site – responsible for all aspects of building performance, to include safety, productivity, budget, and on-time delivery

· Ensures product flows in a timely manner and that product flow problems are identified early and are proactively resolved

· Meets facilities operating budget and KPIs with focus on driving down cost and improving overall service

· Maintains inventory integrity and systems integrity, execution and implementation while maximizing productivity levels throughout the distribution centers

· Leads change management and continuous process improvement

· Provides leadership, training, development and mentorship for Operations Managers and supervisors

· Able to develop and implement staffing plans based on forecasts and volume drivers

· Partner effectively with leadership team, as well as with teams and peers off site at other Distribution facilities and at the corporate office

Qualifications

We seek people with these qualifications:

· Demonstrated experience in structured continuous improvement efforts

· 8+ years leadership experience in roles of increasing responsibility with prior P&L responsibility

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

· Bachelor in related field required

· Lean six sigma certification / exposure preferred
