Duties:

1.    Assists in repairing and overhauling all plant equipment under direct supervision.

2.    Do elementary sheet metal, arc and tig welding.

3.    Makes installation of all plant equipment under direct supervision.

4.    Keeps work area neat and orderly.

5.    Must be willing to work in other non-maintenance departments of the plant as assigned.

Qualifications:

1.    Must be able to weld and operate a cutting torch.

2.    Must be able to operate a forklift.

3.    Must have a current, valid driver’s license.

4.    Must possess and be able to work with necessary hand tools.

5.    Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

6.    Must be physically capable of performing all duties.

7.    Must be able to use mathematics for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

8. Must be aware of all safety rules/procedures and be willing to follow them.
