Qualification Required

• Fully or Part qualified in AAT/IAB/CIMA/CA.
• Familiar with Sun System accounting software is highly preferred
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a reputed company /hotel is necessary.
• Age preferably below 35 years. (Both genders are encouraged to apply)
• An Attractive remuneration package awaits the right candidate.
• Those who are staying close to Tangalle & suburbs will be preferred.
• Should be willing to work long hours when required.
• Previous experience in similar position will be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Must have thorough knowledge of all policies and procedures as they relate to General Cashier.
• To balance petty cash disbursements against petty cash float and ensure timely reimbursement so that all petty cash needs are catered for, in the strict respect of hotel policies.
• Preparing Journal Entries for the Monthly Management Accounts & posting all those entries accordingly
• To prepare on daily basis the General Cashier Report where daily collection/banking is formally reconciled.
• Preparation of bank & general ledger reconciliations
