Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as a Future of Work Change and Enablement Lead, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

Role Purpose

The Future of Work (FOW) initiative is about taking what worked well during the pandemic and addressing new challenges. This means adopting a new hybrid working model that is fit for the future, supported by new technology and working practices that enhance productivity, engagement and wellbeing.

This is a multi-faceted programme, spanning the digital, physical and human enablers (we call these Pillars) of hybrid working and the Future of Work. This role sits in the Human pillar.

The Future of Work Change and Enablement (C&E) Lead is accountable for ensuring robust change management and embedding activities are planned, designed, and implemented for the Human Pillar (in conjunction with the Digital and Physical Pillars; wider HR and local teams as needed).

 In this role, you will:

  • Be an accountable owner of C&E strategy, approach and plan across all Human work streams of Future of Work
  • Provide oversight of engagement plans for ‘Human’ pillar of programme and Group level senior leadership     
  • Ensure interventions are aligned across Pillars and focused on changing and embedding healthy hybrid behaviors
  • Be responsible for ongoing updates to ensure documentation is fit for purpose (e.g. group support materials, communications, meeting packs)
  • Work with our Communications teams and the Physical / Digital Pillars on upcoming materials and messaging and aligning this content with the overall C&E strategy
  • Maintain and refresh Human Pillar change impact assessments and incorporating communications, engagement and learning needs into respective plans
  • Provide oversight and approval for all change artefacts / templates, including any deviations from C&E standard templates
  • Be responsible for raising learning needs to Learning team to support the organisation with capability and skills development

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Knowledge of HR departments and Global Service areas (e.g. learning, performance, recruitment)
  • Understanding of HSBC Group structures, values, behaviours, processes and objectives would be advantageous
  • Understanding of how to implement learning and performance methodologies as key change enablers (incl. behavioural change)
  • Knowledge of Change Management methodologies (e.g. Prosci, Kotter) / HSBC change framework – Agile knowledge is a plus
  • Proven experience of managing deliveries to an agreed timeline
  • Experience of positive, challenging interactions with stakeholders
  • Proven ability in working across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural diverse work environments
  • Experience in Change leadership and management
