The successful candidate will be:

•*Processing Accommodation Preference Forms (APFs) engaging with FAM Cell Management when appropriate. Giving consideration to requests by Service Personnel (SP) for additional support and confirming the accuracy of information through the use of Requests for Information (RFI).

•*Answering accommodation and FAM related queries through a variety of communication tools, i.e. email, telephone, walk ins and pre booked appointments.

•*Update and maintain all data capture logs to ensure that management information is collated in a detailed and timely manner to inform future decision making.

•*Taking notes and providing support during briefings/meetings.

•*Engaging with SP through the medium of pop up events that are held in Aldershot Garrison, being the main point of contact to provide FAM information and answering FAM related questions.

•*Building relationships with unit HR contacts to offer support and information on the APF process and the policy.

•*Providing administrative support and process feedback to the D Grade to enable FAM pilot progression and reporting requirements.

This role will be located in St. Omer barracks in Aldershot garrison and is expected to last until March 2023- there is a possibility this will be extended.

The successful candidate will

•*Be able to work confidently and enthusiastically with military, civil service, and civilian personnel of all ranks.

•*Have a high level of customer service skills to engage effectively with SP and families submitting enquiries to the FAM Cell by all communication channels.

•*Understand and support the objectives of the wider team and it’s changing priorities.

•*Have an interest in policy delivery and recognise the importance of keeping up to date with policy changes as they occur.

•*Ideally have a good working knowledge of MS software packages including Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint, alongside the MoD HR system (JPA) for the capture and presentation of data – training can be given.
