About the role

Our business is growing and so is our team, we are currently seeking a Tyre Coordinator to join our Asset Management Group on a full time basis at our Osborne Park Corporate Office in a Monday to Friday role. There will be the requirement for regular site travel depending on business requirement. Reporting to the Tyre Principal, your primary responsibility will be to provide strong and clear support with the provision of a broad spectrum of Tyre, Rim & Wheel management for all rubber Tyre assets & systems with a priority focus on Off The Road (OTR) Tyres for the Heavy Mining Equipment (HME) fleet.

You will be responsible for:

  • Planning & Coordinating all Tyre studies, trials & improvement projects
  • Manage & trialling Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS)
  • Identifying optimisation and efficiency opportunities
  • Ensuring compliance to the Tyre management plan
  • Driving improvements in safety, cost & quality
  • Providing technical support to operations & maintenance teams
  • Conducting Tyre failure analysis
  • Coordinating Tyre warranty management
  • Liaising & coordinating with stakeholders to achieve timely delivery of department nominated Key Performance Indicators

What you’ll bring to the team

Education

  • Cert II in Tyre Servicing for Heavy Duty Equipment (desirable)
  • Cert II In heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (desirable)
  • Requisite qualifications to Rove, inspect & refit heavy vehicle wheel & tyre assemblies (desirable)

Experience

  • Min 5 years in; OTR Maintenance in a mining environment or similar role with provision of technical support
  • Experience in small to medium sized projects
  • Proficient in the use of applicable softwares; CMMS, ERP & Tyre Management softwares (desirable)
  • Excel, Data Sourcing (desirable)
  • Sound knowledge of Tyre management philosophy
