Job Purpose:
To deploy, manage and continuously improve a system of learning and development that builds the capabilities required for the Hackettstown Plant to meet its business strategies and ensure we have the right talent for today and the future.
What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1+ year training experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience completing or leading training cycles (Example: analyze training needs and learner audience, design learning objectives, develop material and assessment tools, implement training for facilitators and learners, evaluate results, and/or identify/implement future opportunities)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Management, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of training experience in a manufacturing environment
What will be your Key Responsibilities?
- Education and training pillar team member and essential element owner
- Develop and monitor the on-boarding program at the site to include new hire orientation and 30-60-90 process
- Maintain and analyze the skills matrix - update, identify skills gaps, plan and deliver training to reduce skill gaps while leveraging current ways of working
- Coordinate, communicate and assist in execution of the site Training Plan
- Administrator for various training platforms (SharePoint, Poka, etc.)
- Preparation for and successful completion of, internal and external audits related to training and knowledge assessment
- Coordinate and assist in creating or updating training materials (e.g., OPL, SWI), as needed
- Coordinate with Safety, Quality, Value Steams and Pillar teams to determine and ensure program compliance in all aspects of training and documentation
- Track on-going production and equipment changes to ensure all training documentation and practices are effectively communicated and up-to-date
- Administer virtual, classroom, and on-the-floor training and assessment in support of department training program objectives
- Perform other training related job duties as assigned
