More about the role:
Reporting to the Head of IT, the Technology Delivery Manager will be responsible for:
• Managing a team of Technology Solutions Specialist to help delivery technology to over 900 clients across the UK.
• Liaising and supporting client operations with technology requirements and various projects.
• Using your organisational skills, you will help create action plans and follow them through to successful completion with the team.
• Recommend company approved technology solutions to clients and the operational teams.
• Work with the Head of IT to scope and implement technology strategy.
• Work closely with technology partners/suppliers.
• With your team you will help support the operational colleagues with technology within the client sites.
• Work with contractors so ensure that technology solutions scoped, planned and installed to the required specification and standard.
• Ensure that all implementations are carried out within in health and safety guidelines and client restrictions.
• Support our sales team with sales tenders and presentations to clients
• Support the opening/mobilisation of new contracts with technology requirements.
• Travel to client sites when necessary.
Who you are:
• Experience of working with technology within a retail or hospitality environment.
• Comfortable with working in a customer-facing environment.
• Good organisational skills.
• Able to communicate clearly and confidently both verbally and written.
• Adopt a customer service driven approach.
• Ability to explain technology to non-technology minded people in a simple and concise manner.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• A good attention to detail and a responsible manner.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
