- Translating the business strategy into market segment plans that are implemented via a cross functional team
- Together with the cross functional market segment team, identifies and prioritizes new projects for new product and application developments. With a strong customer and value chain focus, identifying unmet needs and developing value propositions and offers using present and future product portfolios
- Defining and driving the go to market execution for the market segment plan(s). Ensuring relevant marketing mix is defined and identifying customer targets to position relevant offers.
- Responsible for value pricing of offers for the market segment(s).
- Depending on the role and the scope of the assigned market segments, the role may lead marketing direct reports.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or technology; MBA preferred
- 7+ years B2B experience, preferably in the Chemical Industry.
- Strategic thinker who can implement and has business acumen
- Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies or plans.
- Proven track record in driving results without direct authority.
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Strong marketing capabilities and practical knowledge of a range of marketing excellence tools.
- Experience in quantified value proposition development and value pricing.
