Responsibilities

1.    Perform detailed mechanical design of static equipment such as pressure vessels, columns, storage tanks, towers, and heat exchangers.
2.    Perform detailed design engineering including preparation of MTO, equipment datasheets, and technical specifications. 
3.    Technical bid evaluation and initiating purchase requisition during the detailed design engineering phase.
4.    Preparation and checking of strength calculations and drawings received from vendor.
5.    Preparation of technical specifications for procurement.
6.    Review and approve vendor documents.
7.    Design and analyzing static and pressure vessels, columns for different pressure and temperature in PV-Elite software per design requirement.
8.    Very good knowledge of international codes such as ASME Sec VII, B&PV codes, API 650, API 620, API 660, TEMA etc.

Qualifications

Candidate Profile:
1.    Degree in Mechanical Engineering with working experience on static vessels.
2.    Candidate should have 5 to 7 years of experience in oil and gas or petrochemicals or chemical industries with a specialty in static and pressure equipment such as stirred reactors, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, storage tanks, columns, and towers.
3.     Candidate should have Engineer design, construction, and commissioning experience with good knowledge of international codes, standards, specifications, and engineering practices.
