Job Summary:

The Business Planning Senior Manager will play a critical role in driving our strategic planning efforts, including identifying new partnership opportunities, developing and implementing new brand concepts and managing our human assets and resources.  Will also be responsible to ensure compliance around headcount, allocations and resources across all of ABC News.

In this role, the Business Planning Senior Manager will build and lead plans, projects and initiatives in collaboration with leaders across editorial, marketing, Insights, analytics, HR and finance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direction on how to structure, run, and maximize our business
• Develop key operating and strategy documents and presentations for ABC News leaders
• Lead complex ABC News projects and initiatives
• Lead the vision, management, and execution of innovative human capital strategies
• Create efficient workflows and lead audit and compliance efforts around headcount, allocations and resources management
• Track project milestones and proactively manage challenges
• Establish reporting and metrics to assess success
• Partner with operations, editorial, finance, marketing and insights teams to implement and operationalize new partnerships and leverage opportunities
