Job Description

The purpose of this job is to, under broad supervision, implement integrated internal and external (PR) communications strategies. The role will work closely with Internal stakeholders and the Brand team to develop communications content and ensure regular, timely, and relevant flow of information throughout the organization.

1. Collaborate across departments and with marketing to identify, create and execute internal, external/PR and communications plans
2. Edit and prepare written internal and external communications materials; Identify and develop creative content and blogs
3. Build relationships and serve as primary point of contact for Internal and External stakeholders
4. Develop comprehensive integrated communications strategies that supports the company’s goals and objectives
5. Plan and execute Company and PR activities as needed
6. Respond and advise on incoming communication and media requests
7. Report campaign results and develop recommendations
8. Assist as needed with media relations
9. Prepare presentations, scripts, and speeches for management and executives
10. Research and monitor new communications tactics, trending media, company media, and content ideas
11. Publish communications on internal and external owned channels
12. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
13. Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree required
• 2-3 years' experience with internal or external/public relations experience preferred 
• Experience working within a large, matrixed organization preferred
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Strong relationship building and influencing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to take initiative, work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information ethically and responsibly
• General office work requiring sitting or standing for long periods of time
• Able to work evenings and odd hours as needed
• Able to lift 20 lbs.
• Travel required up to 15%
