Job Description
Under minimal supervision, identify, conduct, and analyze supply chain data and projects.
Define issues, identify resource needs, and develop project plans. Lead projects from concept to completion.
Responsible for mentoring and training the Supply Chain team.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify data and reporting tools necessary to perform supply chain and operational analysis. Plan and prepare supply chain and operational analysis. Recommend, develop, create and implement standard reporting.
- Conduct root cause analysis, recommend follow up actions, and provide guidance on complex supply chain and operational problems.
- Establish, develop, manage, and lead Supply Chain projects. Identify resource needs and monitor project progress. Collaborate with leadership and provide resolutions.
- Recommend, develop, create and implement ad hoc and ongoing reports.
- Communicate the results of key projects and recommend actions/provide guidance on supply chain and operational problems. Prepare design documents which integrate user requirements, computer programs, and database developer feedback.
- Communicate cross functionally with internal and external business partners across multiple experience levels to identify opportunities for process improvement and root cause analyses including creating metrics dashboards/reporting, sharing information with peers and leadership, using data to identify issues/solutions, and recommending actions or improvements.
- Lead and improve team skills and capabilities through peer mentoring, project management, and other indirect leadership opportunities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics or Applied Science.
Work Experience
- At least 4 years of operations and/or supply chain experience.
- Experience communicating with internal and external business partners and cross functional teams with various audiences.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Experience applying concepts of basic algebra and/or statistics.
- Experience organizing and prioritizing workload.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Access (for example: designing and creating simple queries, modifying data types, adding dates, working with required fields and/or creating labels).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certification / Licensure
- CPIM, CPA or professional engineering license.
Work Experience
- Experience in project management and data analysis.
- Experience with BEX (SAP Business Explorer), Web Focus, FoxPro, SAP and or Visual Basic.
