Job Description

What does the Magic Kingdom’s TRON Lightcyle Run attraction, Disney’s Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs, and Olga’s Cantina at Galaxy’s Edge all have in common? They are all experiences that our Guests enjoy at Walt Disney World, and they all rely on life safety systems. Safety is our number one priority at Disney and there is a world of amazing systems that keep our guests and cast members safe every day, systems that they never see. This is the domain of a Senior Facilities Quality Engineer. As a Senior Facilities Quality Engineer, you will be a crucial part of a team of experts that make our Parks and Resorts safe, sustainable, and brimming with Disney "magic."

Being a Senior Facilities Quality Engineer at Disney is different, not only because of the variety of systems and projects, but also because our engineers are called upon to be thought partners at the very early stages of development and are empowered to act for ongoing projects and maintenance.

At Disney, the scope of a Senior Facilities Quality Engineer work is remarkable. Every day is different! If you feel you have the skills and ambition to do this meaningful work, please apply today!

  • Facilitate the design and development of processes and procedures for maintenance that implement the periodic testing, critical checks, inspections, and maintenance procedures, including the content, frequency, and priority, to assure they adequately mitigate any hazards and risks that have been identified.
  • Manage and leverage contractor/3rd party subject matter experts to help fulfill position responsibilities.
  • Establish and follow a framework for identifying and recording the completion of all necessary documentation, including drawings, manuals, and procedures, training, and certifications to permit and ensure the safe use of the systems by cast members and guests.
