Position Summary

This role partners with Global Finance Executives and their corresponding teams, supporting a budget totaling approximately $375M. 

This position is located in the North America Capabilities Center (NACC) in Tampa and is charged with providing global financial, accounting and key decision support to the above listed functions. 

Business Partnering

  • Providing financial support to develop the annual business plan and periodic financial projections to Finance business partners
  • Supports monthly and quarterly financial close process, including the development and issuance of reports and analyses focusing on comparison of results to budget, prior projection and prior year with investigation of key variances, project spend tracking, preparation of journal entries, among others.
  • Supports other various internal finance-oriented reporting and operating processes
  • Supports special BU transformation initiatives mainly related to headcount

Drives Process Improvements

  • Helps drive further standardization and optimization of processes
  • Works with Senior Manager, Global Finance & Strategy & BD - Corporate Staff to evaluate, optimize, and execute tasks/processes that will improve/increase the business partnering/FP&A responsibilities provided by the group to the Corporate Staff functions.

Financial Stewardship

  • Supports Senior Manager, Global Finance & Strategy & BD - Corporate Staff to maintain internal control environment to the highest standards of compliance and integrity
  • Supports Senior Manager, Global Finance & Corp Strategy & BD - Corporate Staff for external and internal audits, as needed

Desired Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, Pursuing CPA and/or MBA
  • Minimum 3 years diversified experience in accounting and finance
  • Experience with development of annual business plan, financial projections and operations expense management preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of general ledger and budgeting systems required - the SAP suite (including SAP BI/BW; RPM) and Hyperion are strongly preferred
  • High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls, strong financial and analytical skills required
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Must be team oriented and have ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment working with multiple levels of management
  • Successful candidate must be a demonstrated, strong self-starter, have the ability to manage multiple tasks and be able to work with minimal supervision, as well as demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs and requests
