What You’ll Do
Perform preventive maintenance.
Maintain shop morale through the appropriate distribution of work and by providing technical expertise and effective guidance and coaching to other shop employees.
Act as the primary assistant to the manager or supervisor in assigning and directing the work of shop employees.
Perform quality control checks on all work; notify immediate supervision of exceptional or unsatisfactory work, employee-related problems, or other factors hindering work accomplishment.
Orient, train, and instruct new and current employees regarding job functions/tasks expected of them when needed.
Provide support for estimate content or produces repair estimates as needed.
Repair and maintain shop equipment.
Create and maintain vehicle maintenance history.
Perform roadside assistance as needed.
Who You Are
With 5+ years of service work under your belt, you’ve got a knack for everything from electrical to fabrication work. Your qualifications include the following:
Minimum:
5+ years of automotive service and repair experience.
Master ASE Certification required
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
Diesel and transmission experience.
Preferred:
High school diploma or GED.
Medium/heavy work, booms/hydraulics, electrical and complex repairs experience.
One year of customer service experience.
