Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities of this position:
- Prepare company specific security responses to Government client RFPs and RFIs.
- Write, review, and confirm compliance on security responses.
- Support the requirements for client and proposal onboarding by conducting briefings, enabling badging, and following established processes for access for proposal teams.
- Establish good communications and provide dependable follow-up to engagement teams and government points of contact.
- Implement Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) access controls to include creating, auditing, and managing badges; and overseeing visitor and access control logs.
- Initiate, prepare, and submit required personnel security applications (initials, upgrades, and periodic reinvestigations) to include eQIP, SF86, SF86C and other agency required paperwork for access to National Security Information, Intelligence Community and Special Access Programs.
- Act as the quality control for personnel security applications, by reviewing all information and confirming all required documentation is included prior to submission to Government.
- Support personnel security mission to include accurate database entries, reliable monitoring of internal workflows and external databases (e.g., DISS, NISS) for status changes, timely notifications to newly cleared personnel, consistent implementation of established processes, and accurate and up-to-date records management.
- Prepare and complete visit authorization letters for classified visit requests and outgoing clearance certifications for classified visits
- Audit implementation of contract security requirements to confirm compliance.
- Assist with other GPS Security missions/actions and projects, as directed, and required
Position-specific Required Skills:
- 1-3 years of federal security operational and or Personnel Security processing experience with a US intelligence agency
- Associate degree and/or professional security certification (DSS FSO, SPeD level 1, or NCMS ISP)
- In Scope TOP SECRET government security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access

- SharePoint experience
- Familiarity with Defense Information Security System (DISS)

- Strong computer skills - MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook; familiarity with security database operations
- Knowledge of government databases including DISS, Scattered Castles
- Knowledge of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual and the Intelligence Community Directives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated proactive contributor and creative thinker who is willing to contribute ideas and operates well in a rapid-response environment
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Polygraph clearance preferred.
