Position Description

Position Summary (Purpose of Job)
Responsible for performing variety of tasks in the packaging of materials produced in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
• Ability to do basic packaging functions
      o Filling Bottles and Packets
      o Capping, Sealing and Labeling
      o Packing and Palletizing
      o Assist with cleanouts and changeovers
• Follow Dept. Safety, Building procedures and wear proper PPE
• Follow established operating procedures
• Attention to Quality as described in the procedures, bring non conforming products to the attention of the Line/Team Leader
• Ability to count and assist in Inventory accuracy
• Practice good Housekeeping skills and be able to perform and input Safetrack and Housekeeping audits
• Able to productively react to change
• Ability to perform other assigned tasks

Skills Required
• Basic computer skills and the ability to input time and use Lotus Notes
• Ability to drive a Raymond Fork Truck  
• Job requires Standing, Twisting, Bending, Pushing, Pulling, Gripping and Lifting of up to 20 Lbs.
• Read, Write, Speak and Understand English
