What are we looking for?

• We are looking for insatiably curious, adaptable students with a drive for results, a desire to learn, and the ability to build relationships quickly

• We are looking for students who have quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, the ability to translate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, practicality and effectiveness in implementing solutions, and familiarity with business context

• Desired majors include: Computer Science, Supply Chain, Consumer Behavior, Sales & Marketing, or related field

• The Mars Data & Analytics internship opportunities will be located in our headquarter offices in Franklin, TN (Metro Nashville). We operate in a flexible work environment with some days a week working from the office and others from home.

• Eligible candidates will intern the summer prior to their final graduation date

• Open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship for employment

• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug & background screening 

• Open to students from any graduate level program pursing a degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Consumer Behavior, Sales & Marketing, or related field. No geographic boundaries.

• This internship will take place in Franklin, TN. If there is a full-time offer extended for this position there will be a choice of Franklin, TN or Newark, NJ. This position will then proceed as a hyrid work layout.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Work alongside product owner/manager to understand the business problem and map out how analytics solutions will be implemented to deliver value
• Map out existing business processes and constraints and design new processes that utilise analytical solutions or insights
• Focus the team on value creation and customer alignment, especially product owners
• Manage agile dashboard and coordinate agile artifacts delivery, incl. technology and business value deliverables
• Support product owner in designing roll-out plan, developing training materials, and adapting implementation for local context
