The Margin Representative will be visible to many lines of business including Family Office, Capital Markets, Advisors, and retail. Daily activities will include review of documentation for accuracy on various asset movement transactions, as well as reviewing accounts for credit worthiness. The representative will also be trained on the regulatory side of the Margin Department and will gain an understanding of Regulation T, as well as how to read and interpret margin balances and figures.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• 1-2 years of brokerage operations experience preferred
• Customer Service experience preferred
• College degree or similar work experience preferred
• Risk or Compliance experience a plus
• Strong analytical and consultative skills preferred
• Excellent communication (written and oral) to engage with clients and internal partners to provide them with the best service experience
• Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Your ability to build positive relationships across different teams within the organization
• Handling inbound phone calls and emails from clients and assisting them with inquiries regarding Margin issues
• Tracking and monitoring outstanding issues and providing timely updates to clients
• Attention to detail, especially for documentation review and calculations
• Ability to learn many tasks and gain expertise in multiple product offerings
• Windows Office Applications
• Coding / MACRO skills a PLUS

The Team

The Margin Representative will monitor large securities and money transactions, while closely adhering to the Margin Departments Policies and Procedures to ensure customer safety and protection. Highly collaborative team that interfaces with multiple internal stakeholders across various businesses.
