Principal Accountabilities

• Leads work doing a variety of tasks such as operating computerized labeling and scale systems, operating forklifts, high reach equipment, pallet jacks, loading / unloading trailers, communicating with truck drivers, conducting safety checks of trailers, operate tools to ensure compliance across all areas of the warehouse

• Leads will perform PPE checks, assist with the new hire Ramp-In Process, help teach employees in the shipping department how to properly utilize pallet jacks, forklift, scan guns, and thermometers for temperature checks

• Understanding and adhering to all safety, food safety and HR rules and regulations while working in a fast-paced environment, surrounded by powered industrial trucks

• Possess basic understanding of the tasks being performed by shipping and receiving employees and demonstrate a history of safe mobile equipment operation

Other Requirements

• Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions in a cold environment, as well as slippery surfaces.
• Standing for long periods of time and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas of the facility.
• This position requires the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Legal to work in the US without the need of a Visa sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older
• Minimum of two years of experience in production and warehouse management.
• Strong leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc.)
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
