What You’ll Do
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles will govern your development and integration of platforms and services. You’ll get to support several platforms such as Kubernetes, GitLab, Apigee and Anthos. Other responsibilities include:
Architecting, implementing and maintaining automation tools and IaC practices.
Ensuring team-wide application of standard operating procedures for development, deployment, support, break-fix and systems management.
Deploying, maintaining and monitoring cloud and locally hosted applications, APIs and inter-platform integration.
Assessing usage and utilization trends.
Writing and maintaining software build systems and supporting tools including continuous integration, packaging and deployment.
Collaborating with others to troubleshoot and resolve escalated production, integration or application issues.
Who You Are
You have a top-notch logical and analytical mind, as well as a knowledge of economic, financial, market and industry trends. You’re an ethical person who values teamwork. You also have the following qualifications:
Minimum:
BS/BA in computer science engineering, or other IT/ technical degree with 6+ years of experience
OR master’s degree and 4+ years of experience
OR PhD, plus 1+ year of experience
OR ​10+ years of relevant experience.
Coding/scripting experience.
Experience with virtualization, Anisble (playbooks, automation), YAML, automation CI/CD, Anthos, Kubernetes and Agile/Sprint environments.
Experience with leading teams.
Experience with remote/hybrid work.
Preferred Experience:
Expert level in Python.
Debugging existing code.
Troubleshooting.
Creating new features/services.
Expert level API.
Documentation.
SRE experience.
Familiarity with DORA metrics.
Dashboarding.
