ROLE TITLE: IT QA Intern – Digital

COMPENSATION: $18.00 hourly This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Digital team is looking for an Intern that has a strong passion for discovery, ensuring current technologies remain sustainable while engaging in development against emerging technologies. Our Homegrown Mobile App is created on React Native JS and Automation Scripts are created in JS. This position reports to the Associate Manager of Mobile Quality Assurance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participates in project and software release meetings.

• Works alongside developers, Product owners to create usecase and test documents

• Prepares and executes manual or automated test plans for Software/Mobile app

• Chance for Assisting our developers on software enhancements and writing of new code.

• Actively utilizes Jira Services to maintain user stories, bugs and tasks.

• Provides input for any Technical documentation and training for our QA team.

• Provides Input on Strategy to take our Automation framework ahead.

• Works with internal team to troubleshoot the issues

• Provides assistance with testing our ecommerce platform teams.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED:

• Education – Junior or Senior pursuing a Computer Science or equivalent degree

• Ability to work well in a dynamic, agile team environment.

• Must be a resourceful and proactive self-starter.

• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to balance high quality standards with schedule pressures.

• Ability to stay flexible and solution-oriented.

• Must enjoy troubleshooting and perfecting products.

• JavaScript experience a plus but not required.

• Browserstack / Appium experience a plus but not required.
