Job Description
The primary function for this position is to be a high performing business partner supporting the Life Safety and Mass Notifications Solutions Long Branch and Sarasota sites. This role provides support to the Divisional HR Manager and their respective clients to drive solutions across HR processes and procedures, with focus on: assessment & selection, manager and employee onboarding, reporting & analytics; and performance management.

In this function you will:
- Lead the assessment & selection process including, management of requisition workload, coaching, participating with interview teams and maintaining hiring metrics
- Provides guidance on organizational design, succession planning, talent management, and workforce planning, ensuring that structure and practices are aligned with strategy
- Support the execution of key talent management processes by ensuring accurate data, communication, and deployment
- Coordinate’s disability claims (STD and LTD), leaves of absence (FMLA), and workers’ compensation (WC) claims with HR Services, third party administrator (TPA), and relevant parties.
- Utilize HR Services to ensure accurate HRMS data to support key HR
- Support mid-level employee relations (ER) activities to resolve conflict or controversy
- Manages relationship with the local union (IBEW), including supporting the collective bargaining agreement process and leads grievance and arbitration procedures.
- Support miscellaneous HR initiatives and deployments (EE survey, compensation planning, etc.)
- Partners with EHS Manager to promote and maintain a safe work environment by implementing a zero incident safety culture through the use of training, engagement, and recognition.
- Manages site wide communications (i.e. All hands meetings, monitors, flyers, etc.)
- Answer or direct managers and employees on various inquiries to ensure they are supplied with the appropriate resources to resolve questions (HRS, ER, Fidelity, Portal, etc.)\
- Drives Inclusion and Diversity through team meetings, events, and feedback.
- Pulses all employees regularly for gaps in communication, concerns, and needs.
- Drives various recognition programs facility wide to ensure a positive work environment
- Special projects and other duties as needed

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 3 years of human resources generalist and/or labor relations work experience
- Knowledge of federal and state employment and labor laws, (ADA, OFCCP, EEOC, Wage and Hour, State Unemployment Compensation, State Worker's Compensation, etc.)
- Knowledge of HR systems and reporting (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software packages (e.g. Word, Excel, Org Plus, and PowerPoint)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in a large, complex matrix organization
