Responsibilities
• Proactively be in the marketplace to source and attract high performers to maintain a consistent flow of highly qualified talent to add to the organization
• Build high quality diverse talent pools and ensure candidate statuses up to date in the applicant tracking system
• Build a talent network through industry contacts, associations, trade groups and continually executes best practices from the COEs
• Research new sourcing tools, best practices, and ideas to develop a strategy to best utilize these recruiting/networking tools
• Deploy effective recruitment practices with hiring teams, influencing behaviors that drive high quality selection and positive candidate experiences
• Track goals, metrics, and performance of the hiring cycle; regularly communicate status and results
• Propose and implement ongoing innovations and improvements to the recruitment process based on expertise and data, both core practices for the enterprise as well as execution of those practices within the business
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
• Regularly connects with new hires to ensure a great candidate experience from initial interaction through their first 90 days
Education and Experience
• Associate degree or 60 college credit hours required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Five plus years of talent acquisition experience (preferred) along with the preferred competencies and skills:
• Exceptional consultative skills with the desire to understand the needs of each client then formulate and execute the strategy to meet those needs
• Ability to quickly forge strong, influential business relationships both internally and externally
• Thorough knowledge of/experience recruiting for professional roles; knowledge and expertise in internet data mining, professional networking, passive candidate cold calling, and innovative sourcing techniques.
• Experience with building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research.
• Effective utilization of a variety of assessment skills including resume review, behavioral interviewing and reference screening.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
• Attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency
• Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access and other web-based applications. May produce complex documents, perform analysis and maintain databases.
