Job Purpose and Impact

The Food Safety Quality Technician will provide quality assurance and food safety technical support. In this role, you will test and audit process documentation, collect data and provide analysis and support knowledge transfer.

Key Accountabilities

• Conduct inspections of finished products and use SAP data tracking and modeling, to identify trends in defects or errors.
• Contribute to data analysis and identify trends in defects or errors, report to senior level staff in a timely manner.
• Assist to monitor critical quality control points in production; deliver final products by shipping plan.
• Manage the hold and sampling program (etc.)
•  Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
•  Other duties as assigned
  

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of related work experience
• Able and willing to work rotating shifts, weekends and holiday

Preferred Qualifications 

• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent writing skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Good time management and organization skills
