We're looking for an experienced F&B Manager to join our team here at The Argory.
The Hours: 1560 annualised hours per annum. Working around 30 hours per week with hours slightly increasing in the summer & decreasing in the winter. More information will be provided at telephone pre-screening & interview stage on this.
This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.
The Salary:  £25,662 - £27,300 dependent upon experience

The property is open 10-5 in the summer and 10-4 in the winter, so your hours will be based around these times.
You'll be located in a very beautiful oldy worldy Cafe and will not be shy to getting involved in helping out with the cooking.
As the Food & Beverage Manager your role is to provide leadership and support to your team. Your support means that the team can be left to get on with what they do best, while you manage the behind-the-scenes operations, from admin to people management and everything in between! You’ll be the leader in customer service and maintaining high standards of presentation and excellence in the food we serve.
You’ll be hands on with the day to day running of our F&B operations, managing and overseeing the running of our café. It’s a busy business and we’re constantly on the go. We want to make sure that we always deliver exceptional service to all of our visitors every time.
You will be responsible for budgets, managing wages and cost control. You will also ensure stock & waste is managed and seek opportunities to increase income.
You will receive a bespoke induction along with allergen/food safety training. Further professional training & development opportunities are available

You'll need to be/have;
• Experience as a leader with good people management skills, including setting personal objectives and providing feedback
• Knowledge of budgets, increasing income and controlling costs, including stock and waste management
• The ability to identify new opportunities and make strategic decisions for the future of your department
• Helpful & friendly with a positive attitude
• Customer focused with great communication skills
• Aware of Health & Safety compliance
