As a Food & Beverage Inventory Control Clerk (ICC) you will maintain appropriate stocking levels for our Walt Disney World kitchens and food outlets. You will work within certain standards and budgets to ensure our restaurant staff has the ingredients and products needed to provide our Guests with delicious and healthy meals. As an ICC you will also work with team members to receive and inventory shipments. Most of the work is completed before the restaurants open, therefore you will work overnight shifts as early as 2:00 am. If selected for this role, you will report to the location's Chef or Sous Chef.
You Will:
Count and order products daily, up to 1000 products
Maintain appropriate inventory levels via a computer-based inventory system
Conduct and follow month-end inventory procedures
Ensure all products arrive when due and confirm the accuracy of deliveries while correcting any mis-picks, damages, or shortages
Inspect and ensure compliance with quality standards
Communicate with multiple vendors, both internal and external
Verify and record temperatures of perishable items and maintain a HACCP log
Research, reconcile and pay invoices
Track and research credits
Conduct all transfer types
Perform transaction audits
Research Other Expenses and Capital Expense items
Research and recommend cost savings
Collaborate with Cast Members receiving shipments
You Will Have:
Minimum 6 months of work experience in food & beverage, inventory roles, or supply chain
Available to commit to work any day of the week during early shifts as early as 2:00 am and shifts including weekends, overnights, and holidays
Understanding of the usage of inventory management application systems
Able to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
Comfortable working for an extended time in coolers and freezers
Advanced skills in tracking the progress of multiple requests and small details
Skills to manage relationships across teams to ensure Chefs, vendors, and team members understand requests and the level of importance
Initiative to take alternate action to enhance productivity and work independently
High proficiency using Excel (can create reports and trackers) and learning new computers applications
A valid US Driver's License
It Will Be Great If You Have:
1 year of experience in Inventory Management or Food and Beverage
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Hospitality Management, or equivalent experience
