PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

We are seeking an experienced Director of FP&A to lead the financial planning processes for the fast-paced Yum Digital & Technology (D&T) business unit.

JOB SIZE:
This leader has oversight and accountability for all financial planning processes of Yum D&T. Yum D&T is an organization with over 500 employees located primarily in the US, India, and Israel. Yum D&T generates revenue from the sale of its technology products and services to brand and franchisee partners.

JOB FUNCTIONS:
Lead FP&A for Yum D&T
• Lead the annual and multi-year financial planning and budgeting processes for Yum D&T; this includes managing the monthly close process, quarterly forecasting (QXF) reviews, and the financial annual operating plan (AOP)
• Assess progress against financial plan, propose mitigation options for key financial risks, and deliver all of this in high-impact presentations on a period basis for Easy pillar leadership and on quarterly basis for Yum leadership
• Manage the approval of CAPEX requests and lead bi-annual capital reviews with the Yum! CFO, Financial Planning, Investor Relations, and Treasury
• Support the budgeting processes for Yum D&T Centers of Excellence (India Offshore, Recruitment, Tech Procurement) and ensure alignment with brand stakeholders
• Partner with Control to manage capital, expenses, accruals, revenue, bad debt and cash for international entities
• Serve as primary liaison to Yum! Financial Planning, Control, Treasury, and the brand financial planning teams
• Implement and drive adoption of the new Global Planning System

Partner with Yum D&T Strategy & Commercialization and Easy pillar leaders to help develop robust commercialization strategies for our products
• Serve as the lead “voice of finance” in all major product commercialization decisions
• Own the multi-year financial journey for Yum D&T – determine optimal revenue and long-term costs to ensure the Yum D&T business model is sustainable
• Prioritize strategic initiatives based on robust financial analysis and KPIs
• Lead financial impact from re-structuring an entity, launching a new product or opening a new entity outside of US

Lead metrics reporting and automation
• Define, track, and automate key finance and business impact metrics
• Implement and drive adoption of standardized reporting tools (e.g., Domo)
• Provide key insights from these metrics to Yum D&T leadership team

TEAM STRUCTURE

• The Yum D&T FP&A Director has four direct reports – one FP&A Manager/Sr. Manager for each Easy pillar (Experiences, Operations, and Insights) and a Yum D&T Finance Manager

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

• Reporting into the CFO, the FP&A Director will work closely with the Easy pillar leadership teams, brand FP&A teams, Yum FP&A, Yum Control, and Yum Tax and Legal

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED
• Masters in Finance or MBA
• CPA is a plus
• 7+ years of experience managing FP&A in fast-paced and complex environments
• Experience leading FP&A for technology or SaaS organizations with international scope (highly preferred)
• Experience in building and leading distributed teams and collaborating with leaders across teams/functions
• Strong communication and written and verbal presentation skills
• Ability to develop high-impact presentations that translate detailed financial analyses into actional recommendations and insights
• Ability to manage multiple senior stakeholders
• Deep problem-solving skill set with the ability to adapt and work through ambiguity and novel challenges; willingness to “roll up your sleeves”
• Passion for connecting with and developing people

Salary Range: $­­148,200 to $191,840 annually + bonus eligibility (if applicable) [+ stock-based compensation (if applicable)]. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
