The Director responsibilities supporting Strategic Advisers managed accounts includes, but is not limited to the following areas:
Responsible for working closely with multiple managed account company leaders to execute multi-year plans introducing innovative new capabilities to Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs) and Unified Managed Accounts (UMAs)
Accountable for crafting and articulating SMA / UMA investment philosophy, process, resources and results to internal partners liaising with product professionals across a variety of Strategic Advisers business partners to support product positioning, product marketing, and product development
You are our subject matter specialist for the Personal Investing (PI) advice solutions – new Separately Managed Accounts and Unified Managed Account solutions
Support distribution teams to answer complex client and prospect inquires related to the investment methodology underpinning SMAs and UMAs
Lead ongoing project reporting for internal senior leaders partnering with them on key project implementation
Essential team member on product launches by assisting in representing the investment team to communicate the investment process, investment philosophy, portfolio construction positioning and messaging, representative training, as well as thought leadership
Once products are launched, provide ongoing product support in the form of communications and positioning of investment process and methodology, as well as facilitation of client exceptions, reporting/analysis improvements, and ad hoc channel requests
Support further product development efforts related to SMAs and UMAs across PI / WI / FI managed accounts platform
Coordinate Unified Managed Household (UMH) and SAI Fund interactions as they relate to SMAs / UMAs
Ten plus (10+) years of financial services experience, preferably in product management, product development, or product strategy roles
Experience with multiple investment products and asset classes
Knowledge of unified managed accounts (UMA) and separately managed accounts (SMA) systems architecture
MBA or equivalent strongly preferred
CFA/CFP strongly preferred
Interpersonal and Influencing skills are critical along with a proven track record of successfully engaging with all levels of management across multiple business units
Interpersonal skills and the ability to clearly, concisely and persuasively present sophisticated proposals, issues and arguments, both in writing and verbally
Analytical and critical thinking skills required ensuring analyses are thoroughly vetted and sound
Project management skills required to successfully drive projects across the company and coordinate critical dependencies
Proactive identification of critical issues, potential resolution plans, and quick decisioning
Basic technology concepts and trading architectures for financial services / managed accounts
