Job Description

The Role

As a member of the Alternative Investments Squad in the Planning & Advice Services product area, you will collaborate on how to incorporate alternative investments into the financial planning eco-system.  You will work across our Investment tool teams and partner with technology and Legal, Risk, and Compliance to ultimately deliver exceptional experiences for our advisors and advisors. This role is based in Boston, MA,  Durham, NC, Smithfield, RI, or Merrimack, NH.  #CSB

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of alternative investments, and represent how they fit within our wealth management / financial planning offerings
  • Ability to think strategically about end-to-end experiences and map out how the unique elements fit together – crafting end-to-end client journeys and experiences to address clients' needs
  • Ability to translate strategic goals and ideas into action quickly, conceptualizing, developing, and partnering closely with technology to deliver products and experiences that meet client, advisor, regulatory, and compliance needs
  • Financial planning knowledge, preferably with alternative investments and CFP® knowledge
  • 6-10 years of meaningful experience in digital product development, including experience with user experience design practices, experimentation, and measurement
  • Client obsessed, with the ability to learn, identify, and clearly communicate opportunities that will contribute to our digital experiences
  • Experience working within a highly regulated product development space – partnering to balance Legal, Risk, and Compliance considerations and requirements against digital and customer experience optimization
  • Ability to build credibility and trust with diverse partners and understand how to influence without authority
  • Proven commitment to cross-functional collaboration in agile, client-centric, fast paced environment
  • Intellectually curious, willing to tackle new subjects with a continuous improvement approach
  • Experience identifying and working with data to analyze, find opportunities, drive fact-based decision making, and measure results
  • Project management and product development skills
  • Self-directed, detail oriented and adept at owning several initiatives at once
