Storengy UK has a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial and Regulatory Analyst to join our growing business on the Storengy UK Stublach site near Northwich.
Working as a part of the Commercial Team you will deliver options for Storengy UK to improve its commercial offerings and respond to regulatory changes by analysing industry and market data, potential impacts from regulatory changes, and operational trends.
You will have strong analytical and communications skills and ideally a degree or background in Economics or related areas. Although it is desirable that you have gas and energy industry knowledge, it’s not a deal breaker as you will be trained and supported by an experienced Commercial Team.

We can offer you a fixed term, 2 year contract, with a salary ranging from £23k to £28k p.a.

Our existing natural gas storage plant provides flexibility and support to the natural gas and power networks in the UK. We aim to make this site in Cheshire Net Zero by 2025 utilising our newly constructed onsite solar farm and other net zero projects.
In addition to our existing business, we have challenged ourselves to provide 1TWh per year of biomethane onto the gas grid in the UK by 2030, this will assist in decarbonising UK homes and industry and further support the UK’s push to Net Zero.
Looking further into the future the world is working to develop a Hydrogen economy and Storengy UK is prepared to meet this challenge. Our Vanguard project demonstrated the viability of Green Hydrogen production for transport, and we believe hydrogen will be a major part of our future in further projects.
