Principal Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the operation of Minibulk equipment including LOTO procedures
  • Preventative maintenance on applicable Minibulk equipment
  • Responsible to carry out Master Sanitation Schedule and assure Minibulk operations meet or exceed FSSC 22000, and Good Manufacturing Practices at all times
  • Operates in a safe manner which will prevent injury to self and others
  • Organize production runs based on priorities given by Supervision and Supply Chain
  • Run the Minibulk equipment in efficient manner to meet production standards
  • Maintain the food integrity of the Minibulk system
  • Perform all minor repair work relating to the Minibulk equipment
  • Maintain all other equipment related to the Minibulk production line
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements:

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
  • Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Basic use of a computer and typing skills
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., kneeling, and climbing stairs
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment
  • Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with and without advance notice


Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or Equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, Inventory Systems, SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing and or production related work environment
