We are looking for a results-driven Basketball Coach to join our community.

In this role you will:

• Inspire a profound love of athletics in all scholars

• Collaborate with other coaches across the network to build a world-class basketball program in our elementary schools

• Instill values of respect, team spirit, passion, modesty, fair play, and individuality in our scholars

• Manage a rigorous basketball team focused on developing scholars’ technical skills at a high level

• Invest parents and families in the transformative role athletics can play in children’s lives

• Engage in training with school leaders and benefitting from targeted, in-the-moment feedback on instruction, which accelerates learning and growth with unparalleled support

• Have experience coaching youth basketball with a record of excellence

• Have an outstanding record of academic achievement and extracurricular leadership

• Are able to manage both administrative and coaching aspects of the position in a timely and organized manner.

• Are able to develop concepts such teamwork, healthy lifestyles, sportsmanship and nutrition

• Possess a demonstrated track record of propelling students’ understanding and love of basketball

• Have an advanced understanding of the game of basketball as well as strong class management

• Have a drive to ensure that joyful, rigorous instruction is delivered to every scholar, every day
