Job Purpose and Impact

The Application Development Consultant II will provide thought and team leadership to maintain, integrate and implement software applications and functionality that generate value for the organization. In this role, you will lead strategic software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implementation of new software and updates to installed applications.

Key Accountabilities

• Leading, advising and making decisions on major application development activities
• Provide governance to ensure proposals and estimates from partners meet business needs, are priced appropriately, timelines are reasonable, and solutions meet business objectives.
• Acts as the Expert to the BU’s, Functions and SAP Instances Solution Integrity Analysts for all BI related topics
• In depth knowledge of the BI solutions and services for the respective SAP Instance and process area
• Builds and maintains relationships with Service Delivery Manager, Enterprise Leads, Enterprise Data Leads, Process managers, Process Solution Integrity Analysts and Project resources
• Partner with multiple levels of the organization to drive consensus on a solution direction.
• Provide direction or lead the strategy and technical planning of system/application technology in accordance with internal and external software compliance standards.
• Provide expert thought leadership in Analytical field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
• Must have managed, provide guidance, set Goals, responsible for Career Development for the highly skilled team members like SIA’s & SA’s
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 16 years of related work experience
• Experience Working on Multiple Global projects
• 8+ years of SAP experience in at least one of the domains ACM, Finance, Operations & Commercials
• 8+ years of experience in BI
• Technical knowledge and experience with one of the SAP Reporting/Analytics solutions such as BO, BW, Fiori, Hadoop, Snowflake etc.
• Knowledge of Self-Service Analytical Tools like Power BI, KNIME & Tableau
