About the Role

We are looking for a mid to senior level developer who is ideally from a NodeJS / JavaScript Full Stack background. Joining the Adventus team, you will play an integral role in shaping the delivery of our platform’s migration over to a new technology stack and microservice architecture.

What we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who has experience collaborating in a quality focused environment where testing and code reviewing is a part of the everyday process. 

The Tech / What you will work with:

We certainly do not expect you to have experience in all of the technologies listed below. If you have at least a couple in your wheelhouse, we would love to hear from you.

● Node.js, PHP (Laravel)

● Microservices Architecture

● JavaScript, TypeScript

● VueJS, Composition API

● HTML5, CSS, SASS, LESS, Gulp, Grunt

● RESTful and Apollo GraphQL

● AWS services such as IAM, EC2, ECS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, Lambda, SNS, SQS, Elasticsearch etc

● Docker, Kubernetes

● MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB (Atlas), Redis

● Unit Testing, TDD, BDD

● Git, Bitbucket, GitHub

● Agile, JIRA

It would be great to bring, but is not required to have:

● A computer science or engineering-related degree

● Experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB
