The Role

We have a phenomenal opportunity for a highly motivated Full Stack Engineer to build robust APIs & interfaces to improve current analytics distribution capabilities. You will collaborate with other development team members, analysts and architects in building applications and APIs to deliver the data!

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience in Web services and API solutions
• Proven experience developing enterprise-wide sophisticated applications in Java-Spring Frameworks, Angular, NodeJS on a UNIX/Linux platform
• Hands on experience with AWS Cloud, developing REST APIs/Micro-services (versioning, isolation) and Message Oriented Middleware
• Experience with configuration management tools such as uDeploy, Spring Cloud Config etc.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices; Jenkins, or Concourse and experience with Source Control Repository tools; Git and Stash
• Understanding of Containers and Server-less architectures (AWS Lambda, Docker, EKS) is desired
• Digital attitude, and proficient across a variety of implementation patterns for development of enterprise level API Services and consumption using modern frameworks and open-source technologies.
• Excellent communications skills and technical expertise to drive and participate in substantial discussions as well as detailed oriented with strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Ability to efficiently balance multiple high-priority assignments and ability to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality work

The Team

The FFIO business unit crafts and maintains solutions and products that enable FFIO to provide accounting and investment management support services to Fidelity businesses and fund shareholders. As part of FFIO, Performance Attribution Product Area produces daily transaction-based attribution analytics at the holdings level for use by the application’s dynamic consumers who include: Senior Investment Staff, Portfolio Managers, Chief Investment Officers, Research groups, Distribution Channels, Board of Trustees & Shareholders. We work closely with investment management teams to understand the investment process and drivers that support decision and formulate attribution models and analytics to support their needs.
