What role will you play as a member of the Colgate's Information Technology team? The position will be responsible for developing and working with application developers using the latest technologies. This person will drive improvements in performance, security, maintainability and scalability of our applications. Our growing team is a group of innovators and technologists that love to learn and collaborate. Together, you'll use a disciplined, innovative and a business focused approach to develop a wide variety of high-quality eCommerce-based products and solutions. As an experienced Full Stack Developer, your mission is to help our team in creating next-level solutions that fulfill business requirements and provide engaging experiences to people who use our brands. Your knowledge of design, development process, coding, and testing will help our team raise their game while meeting standards as well as satisfying both business and functional requirements. Your expertise in various technology domains will be counted on to set strategic direction and solve complex and mission critical problems, internally and externally.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years Developing production eCommerce (or similar) websites
• Solid foundation in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Experience developing front end web applications using JavaScript Frameworks like Vue/Nuxt, React/Next or Angular
• Good understanding of functional programming
• Familiarity with Node.js and server frameworks such as Express or Sails

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Git version control
• Familiarity with browser rendering behavior and performance
• Familiarity with JS automated testing tools and frameworks
• Experience with backend/API development
• Interest in DevOps principles
• Experience with capabilities of major Cloud Service providers (Google, AWS, Azure)
