Job Description
The FRSS Process Improvement Intmd. Analyst for Mumbai is a professional with broad experience in Lean, able to conduct and lead business process reviews, identify process improvement opportunities and drive execution of reengineering in FRSS. This position supports the Global FRSS Process Improvement organization, partnering with Reporting Operations Managers and Function’s Leaders to identify and structure strategic process improvement programs and projects to drive full-scale process transformation.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Leads and drives complex, cross-functional Lean programs, and training for business and functional partners, including:
- Scoping and planning the projects (deliverables, timelines, resourcing, etc.).
- Leading the project teams in identifying waste and pain-points in the process using Lean tools (including basic Process Mapping, VSM, SIPOC’s, Time and Motion studies, Benchmarking, etc.) and presenting findings to Senior Leadership.
- Organizing and leading Kaizen workshops, guiding the project teams on executing Root Cause Analyses and identifying Action Plans for the elimination of Root Causes to solve various Business and Process issues that achieve project/program objectives.
- Developing “To–Be†processes, documenting identified policy and procedure gaps and a plan to implement the future state.
- Analyzes re-engineering results and present findings to senior leadership.
- Evaluates all re-engineering initiatives for scope, timing, benefits, and sponsorship
- Provides project reporting and oversight as appropriate.
- Partners with other Process Improvement team members as needed to execute programs
- Partnering with Business and Finance to estimate benefits for inclusion into budget plans, and monitoring achievement of benefit targets
- Delivering Lean training courses
Contributes as a subject matter expert to the buildout of our Lean digital training modules used by employees across the enterprise.
Partners with Center Heads & Process Leads to identify opportunities to apply automation solutions and build a book of work in line with priorities and the objectives of the Services Strategy.
In addition to being able to work with and influence Senior Management, this will require a commitment to staying up to date with which technologies are best suited to different use-cases and to translate those into business cases with a clear ROI.
Develops and deliver program reporting and senior stakeholder presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent. Required 5-7 years of work experience with time spent applying Lean or Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Six Sigma Black Belt trained or Lean Certified
- Experience in management consulting and/or developing automation solutions for Operations and Services will be highly valued.
- Data analytics, especially workload, cost analysis and internal/external benchmarking.
- Ability to influence and work effectively with Senior Managers and with large teams across countries, functions and businesses.
- Understanding of the drivers of value, including the ability to size and prioritize large-scale initiatives across Businesses and Functions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to structure logical analysis in presentations.
- An in-depth understanding of Excel and PowerPoint.
- An understanding of Citi's businesses and Finance function, the major strategic issues and the Senior Management landscape would be beneficial.
- Highly motivated, organized and methodical.
