Job Description:
As a Senior Web Developer, you will be ready to provide expertise and ownership for the lifecycle management to build scalable, functional components and responsive web pages. You will help evolve Fidelity Institutional (FI) Marketing’s technology and web content management process by building out and maintaining the front-end shared code library, through standardized web design guidelines and principles.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
5+ years of proficient hands-on front end web development experience using HTML and CSS (SCSS)
5+ years coding responsive design web pages
3+ years JavaScript experience working with frameworks like Angular or React
Experienced developing professional Web pages
Solid grasp of design principles and user interface guidelines.
Advanced experience with modern web development (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3).
Be an advocate for front-end best practices when working with business partners to maintain a scalable, modular, reusable front end architecture.
Ability to translate requirements, wireframes, and conceptual designs into high quality, visually appealing, and intuitive responsive user interfaces and accessible user experiences.
Experience with debugging feature and performance issues.
Experience with GIT, Node, Express, task runners and/or module bundlers a plus
Eagerness to stay ahead of the latest front-end technologies, learn independently and bring lessons back to the team.
Experience with a CMS (Sitecore CMS a plus)
Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Interaction Studio are a plus.
Ability to work closely with Clients, Marketing, UX, Team, and Cross-team partners to deliver cohesive solutions
Strong analytical skills and ability to tackle issues and work through ambiguous situations by making timely decisions based on facts, knowledge, experience, and judgment
Ability to run multiple projects, identify risks and opportunities
A desire to help others on the team learn and succeed
Works with the team to continuously improve efficiencies in our processes
Good verbal and written communication and influencing skills

The Front-end Development team is an integral part of the FI Digital Marketing
Creative and agile, this team is known for implementing innovative user-friendly solutions based on business requirements from partners. The Front-end Development team is responsible for all aspects of the front-end coding process including creation and maintenance of web pages, website components, styles, and front-end functionality.
