TADL is looking for a passionate & expert Front-end Engineer to join our team and help shape the future user experience of Optimizely's products. The incumbent will be a key player in architecture and design decisions for new UI development across Optimizely products. Together with Engineering, Product, and Design, he/ she will research new opportunities, create new user experiences and prototypes, and be a key leader of the Optimizely design system, Axiom

Responsibilities

• Author and maintain UI components that are accessible, performant, scalable, and robust• Work closely with product designers, product managers, and engineers to implement solutions for end user and business needs• Act as a technical leader in the development of high quality, well-tested, documented, CI/CD-enabled, and high-performance software solutions• Serve as an advisor for our frontend UI to teams and leadership• Lead best practice discussions on design systems front end.• Facilitate the distribution of ideas and maintain UI consistency across product lines• Pursue personal growth by maintaining an awareness of the state of technology, engineering techniques, and best practices of design systems• Facilitate special project planning including requirements elicitation, design, and scoping• Manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in related field or equivalent experience.• Practical experience in web front-end development for at least 2 years• Expertise in Angular/ReactJS• Expertise in GIT, Webpack, NPM• Proficient in client-side technologies including (X)HTML5, AJAX, CSS3/LESS/SASS, JavaScript (jQuery)• Experience in working collaboratively with wireframes and technical specifications for interactive websites• A preference for working in a creative team environment, complimented by an ability to self-manage for deadlines• Strong HTML skills, and an ability to create elegant, semantically clean mark-up• Strong understanding of CSS, its cross-browser quirks and a keen eye for details• Demonstrated experience in managing maintainable, scalable, cross-browser code that is a delight to experience on any device• Ability to work with multiple deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment• Ability to adapt and to solve problems proactively and creatively
