Meets greets and welcomes guests.• Registers check-in and check-out guests.• Handles mail, keys, information about the city, etc.• Forwards and receives guests' messages.• Handles in-house and incoming calls from guests and the public.• Is responsible for the daily operation of the Front Office, ensuring that all records and information are correctly maintained, room and safe box keys neatly and securely_ presented, etc.• Co-operates with other Hotel/Apartment departments and assists them in any way possible.• Checks the status of hotel/apartment rooms correctly on a shift basis.• Performs other duties assigned by the Front Office Supervisor.• Performs general clerical and reporting functions.• Keeps the Front Desk Area clean and neat all the time.• Handles Fruit Basket Assignment Lists to various corporate guests.• Prepares sales and accounting reports to be used by the sales and accounting departments respectively.• Pre-assigns rooms and meal coupons for guest arrivals.• Works closely with Housekeeping to ensure that rooms are in suitable conditions to sell to guests.• Keeps a record of the whereabouts of guests in the hotel/apartment as instructed.• Performs cashier functions
