As Freedom Boat Club continues to grow and expand boating participation across the globe, we are searching for a new teammate to join us and support a variety of initiatives within the Marketing Department. The ideal teammate will be self-starting, organized, and outgoing as they are tasked with drafting reports, creating & coordinating content, tracking results, building relationships with sales teams, and otherwise supporting all marketing strategies.
Duties & Responsibilities – Marketing Coordinator
Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy.
Assist with overall marketing strategies and techniques including (but not limited to): social media, email marketing, event coordination, and community/charitable support.
Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation.
Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success.
Provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends.
Support the maintenance and development of internal tools, including the content management system (CMS), customer relationship management (CRM) platform, digital asset management (DAM) platform, among others.
Further knowledge and education regularly through workshops, research, and seminars, and share best practices, and local marketing ideas and tactics with the team
Other duties as assigned.
Reporting
This role will report solid line into the Freedom Boat Club Marketing Department.
Hours of Operation & Location
This position is a full time, salaried opportunity residing in Freedom’s Venice, FL Headquarters office
This position will require some travel in support of local events and other marketing activities taking place across the network. Travel is likely 10 days or less a quarter.
Education
This position requires a college degree (or equivalent work experience) with prior experience in Marketing/Sales or Communications.
Experience / Skills Required
Experience using content management system (CMS) platform, customer relationship management (CRM) platform, design tools (ex: Canva, Adobe, etc.)
A power-user of all major social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, at minimum).
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
High energy
Entrepreneurial spirit
Effective in providing exceptional customer service
Clear concise written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
Proficiency in PC-based software including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
