Freedom Boat Club is the nation's oldest and largest private member boat club and we are currently looking to add Marine Repair Technician to our team. The position is full-time. Using your company-provided truck and gas card, you will be required to travel between either Chicago or Milwaukee and our Marine Operations Center in Park City, IL.

Work Experience

- Must have knowledge of 12v electrical, rigging, and outboard diagnostics

- Certified in Yamaha or Mercury is a plus, if you are not certified but are interested in becoming certified, we can provide free training

- Fiberglass repair a plus

- Boating experience in and around boats is preferred

- Know how to work safely in a shop environment, maintain a clean work environment and adhere to required safety policies

- Know how to maneuver a boat and trailer

Other Requirements

- Pass a background check and drug screen

- High school degree

- Valid driver's license and good driving record

- At least 21 years of age

- Ability to maintain a calm, positive attitude during periods of high activity

- Strong communication skills

- Ability to read and manipulate handheld tablets

- Comfortable with physical demands of the role including bending, kneeling, balancing and carrying equipment up to 25 pounds

- Adhere to all safety policies
