Freedom Boat Club is an international leader in owning and franchising Boat Clubs since 1989. We have over 230 franchised locations in addition to 40+ corporate owned boat clubs in operation throughout North America and Europe. We are seeking a 2022 summer intern (May – August) to help us execute the Freedom Excellence Program, which is a program that will provide value to our Franchisees, members and help increase the prestige of our FBC brand. The Finance Intern would be responsible for collecting, analyzing and reporting on key financial metrics for our Franchisees. The Finance Intern will mainly be working remotely, but will require a few short-term trips to our Venice, Florida office.
Responsibilities:
Collect, analyze, summarize, and report key financial metrics
Collect, analyze, and evaluate accuracy of financial metrics provided by Freedom Boat Club Franchisees
Interact with Freedom Boat Club location managers and Franchisees
Generate reports and give presentations
Qualifications:
Must be a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Business Analytics, graduating in Spring 2023 or sooner
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Well-rounded understanding of business financial principles
Relevant prior work or internship experience preferred
Ideal Candidate:
Ability to work independently; create individual work plan/deadlines and execute
Ability to take initiative; identify areas of improvement and independently develop recommendations and/or solutions
Ability to collaborate and work in a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with MS Excel and PPT
