Job Summary:

Disney Consumer Products, Games, and Publishing (CPGP) is looking for a Franchise Associate to support the franchise development team. This role will be responsible for taking on tasks and projects that support the franchise strategy, ensuring franchise approvals are managed in a timely yet thoughtful manner, obtaining and disseminating assets and maintaining communication with all CPGP teams including creative, marketing, PR and synergy.

Responsibilities:

  • You will support development of annual global franchise plans for select Disney branded pre-school, tween, and kids and family franchises
  • You will support business updates for internal and external partners by coordinating data collection, product images, etc.
  • You will identify additional franchise development opportunities in partnership with lines of business, marketing and retail brand development teams
  • You will manage global franchise clearances for IP and retail programs
  • You will support marketing and franchise review process with content partners including submissions, feedback capture and implementation
  • You will collaborate with studios to coordinate global CPGP involvement in content updates, mobilization meetings and task forces
  • You will support acquisition and clearance of content assets for creative and product development
  • You will support franchise marketing initiative development tied specifically to retail and product initiatives
  • You will support development, maintenance and distribution of franchise tools including pitch decks, sell sheets, content calendars, and content-related presentations
  • You will support PR needs via asset and product support, routing support and fact checking
  • You will handle team meeting coordination including agenda generation, recap notes/action steps, follow ups
  • You will support franchise-specific product showcases for content partners and studio

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in brand management, franchise and/or marketing experience
  • Solid presentation skills and able to motivate both internal and external partners
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and assignments
  • Strong computer skills (Keynote , Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Google Docs/Sheets)

Required Education

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education

  • BA or BS (Marketing background preferred)
