What will you be doing? 

This role is the UK finance business partner for Acquisition and Retention consolidating the total UK A&R position including Consumer and Enterprise, Mobile & Fixed.

What will you be doing? 

We have an exciting opportunity for an FP&A Manager to join our FP&A team in Vodafone UK. The role covers all areas of the business, from Consumer to Enterprise, from mobile to fixed, and therefore allows for excellent financial and strategic knowledge generation, wide spread networking, and experience of senior management.

You will be required to work closely with all FP&A and Financial Decision Support (FDS) colleagues in order to build up an accurate, detailed, and insightful representation of business financial performance. This information will be used to drive future business strategy.
The role has both cyclical and ad hoc aspects. You will be heavily involved in regular month end analysis and forecasting cycles as well as delivering UK level performance analysis when required.

Key accountabilities include:

• Lead the UK overview of Revenue and Margin planning and analysis.
• Provide clear and concise schedules and commentary to track and explain UK performance at month end and during forecasting processes.
• Own the month end review packs as well as consolidated forecast and LRP outputs
• Track risks and opportunities to existing plans and ensure alignment of expectations across all UK stakeholders
• Month end reporting
• Develop efficient and accurate models to consolidate budget plans
• Consolidation and analysis of Rolling Forecast and Mid-Month Prediction production
• Consolidation and analysis of 9+15 (budget) plan with key drivers and concise explanations
• Robust and clear month end analysis
• Develop UK-level insight & analysis to support forecasts and monthly commentaries

Who are we looking for?  

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
• Presentation & communication skills - interpreting and explaining complex information to senior stakeholders and non-finance teams
• Strong delivery focus and ability to prioritise across multiple stakeholder demands. 
• Commercial curiosity and ability to translate operational drivers into financial plans
• Forecasting experience
  o Assess and challenge assumptions
  o Lead and manage a process across departments
• Build relationships and influenced at senior levels within a business across departments
