JOB DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY:

Forging Technician is responsible for all general set ups on forging presses. Including sprayers and billet track adjustments. Ensuring all set ups are done in a safe and organized manner. Using the appropriate tools and techniques’ to perform the set ups and press operations safely and by the set up (Master Card).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Other duties may be assigned as required by the needs of the business.

• Report to work on time and per your work schedule. Punctual and regular attendance is an essential job duty.
• Press operation
• Set up of press
• Trouble shooting press and sprayer,
• Produce product that meets company specification which includes quality

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma/GED or
• 2 years related manufacturing experience.
• Must have mechanical and trouble shooting abilities on forging presses and sprayers. Must be able to perform set ups using the (set up master card). To use different power tools such as; impact wrenches, grinders, and all hand tools; wrenches, screw drivers, Allen wrenches, and socket wrenches.
