Headquartered in Indianapolis, Dickinson Fleet Services (DFS) has grown to become one of the largest fleet maintenance companies in the country. DFS is the leading provider of on-site mobile maintenance and repair services nationwide, offering mobile on-site fleet service for light medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers. DFS also services customers utilizing its 18 nationwide service centers; each offering services, such as accident repair, paint, refurbishment, and heavy mechanical repair. Supported by a 24/7 in-house call-center, DFS provides maintenance scheduling and emergency roadside assistance to fleets anywhere, anytime.
DFS is currently hiring a Fleet Performance Manager in Indianapolis, IN, it is your job to ensure that Dickinson customers receive an unparalleled customer-experience. You will ensure that all customer expectations are met, and that the Dickinson field and corporate teams are setup for success in servicing the account. You are ultimately responsible for the customer satisfaction & success of the account.
Duties:
Deliver an elite customer-experience – capitalizing on Dickinson’s mission of providing industry-leading:
Communication (Daily, Weekly, & Monthly Reporting, Fleet Health Statistics, Business Forecasting)
Quality (KPI Management, Billing Accuracy, Service Standards, Campaign/Project Management)
Safety (Customer Safety Standards and Expectations, PM Currency & Findings, Dickinson Safety Standards)
Ownership of customer improvement opportunities – own problems & concerns from the start through resolution
Understand & strategically implement customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Effectively Organize & Communicate strategies focused on meeting customer KPIs.
Strategically Recognize, Develop, & Execute strategies to grow with assigned accounts.
New Branch/Business Unit Additions
Utilize additional DFS Service Offerings
Special Projects/Campaigns
Adhere to and manage to the customer approved budget (monthly, quarterly, annually)
Analyze fleet statistics, compile, and deliver accurate reports.
Ensure that customer’s is complying with DFS payment terms.
Manage billing concerns, support DFS Accounts Receivable Team
Host a meeting/business review & deliver an organized, detailed presentation.
Thoroughly understand & be able to review/sell Dickinson’s suite of service offerings.
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree and 7 years of experience with at least 3 years of experience in a management/leadership role; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
Ability to learn, understand, and communicate Fleet Maintenance.
Exceptional organization skills
Simultaneously manage multiple projects & customers
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Must be able to dissect, organize, and manipulate a spreadsheet (pivot tables, data tables, VLOOKUP’s, etc.)
Must be able to construct an organized PowerPoint deck.
Must be able to maintain professional composure in stressful situations.
Ability to effectively communicate unfavorable information to the customer.
Resolve conflicts to the satisfaction of both DFS & the customer.
Must be able to develop confidence & trust between yourself and the customer.
Recognize and recommend change if needed.
